In the restaurant Borromäus, our young kitchen team reinterprets the classics, relying on local ingredients and old varieties as well as regional, seasonal and sustainably produced foods: for example, meat from Ennetbürgen, cheeses from Stans, perch from Schötz, etc.

Borromäus is highly popular with consciously enjoying gourmets and gourmands. In the summer we also offer «al fresco» dining on Franziskanerplatz, the most beautiful square in Lucerne's Old Town.

Borromäus Hall: 475 Years of History for Rent.

Borromäus Hall is the oldest public hall in the city of Lucerne and has been closely linked to the city's history since 1545. Lucerne's high school was founded here in the 16th century. Political parties and carnival societies celebrate their origins here, solutions to religious conflicts were drafted and discussed in the Borromäus.

Today Borromäus Hall is available for lunch or dinner with family, friends or with business partners. It is suitable for all kinds of events and celebrations with up to 40 people, for example birthday dinners, weddings, baptisms, etc.
